Just a quick warning about the roads to the 's the stuff of nightmares! Scared me to death the first time we drove up it in the dark! I wouldn't let it stop me from wanting to rent this cabin again but be prepared for it if you rent it! Even the oven being a bit messed up just mean that I got to eat breakfast at Crockett's Breakfast Camp my whole vacation! :) We didn't call and complain about anything though! It wasn't a huge deal to us. It ticked my husband off and he refused to cook anything else in it. The dial for the oven had no numbers on it and we burned our bacon the first morning.

Last of the small things is the tv in the bedroom wouldn't work. Second, the lights on the hot tub did not work but the rest of it was fine. My husband is as grumpy as a bear without his coffee so we made do with some paper towels but grounds still got in our coffee. We didn't discover this till the first morning. There was a few very small issues and 1 bigger one.įirst, while there was a coffee maker there were no filters. Hot tub and fireplace were great especially since our first night there was so cold! We did the check in online, which was quick and easy, so we were able to go straight to the cabin. Everything was clean and there was plenty of towels. The view was beautiful and the porch it's swings were awesome. Thanks again and we look forward to visiting again in the future. With that said, we did enjoy the cabin a great deal. This may be a real issue if someone sets the timer, falls asleep and the igniter goes off and propane continues to seep without the first reigniting. The third thing was the fireplace, the timer that sets the rate the fireplace would slow to a stop at times and the igniter would kick on and off and we ended up smelling some propane/gas seeping from the fireplace when this occurred. The second thing that stood out was a water hose that was running from one of the local homes and hooked up just off the balcony side of the cabin.

The first thing I noticed while checking to make sure all windows were secure one of the windows located in the master bedroom was unsecure, not locked and open a bit. I went through and checked the cabin and as I did, I found three things that stood out about the property. Most of our time was spent in the cabin in bed therefore the bed is probably one of the most important parts of the stay. The master bedroom bed is very soft and seems to be worn and used in a way it reflects a lot of use in the past. The things I would like to point out that may help other enjoy their stay a bit more. Before I share my feedback, I would like to say that we had a great stay overall and we thank you for a great experience. There are a few things I would like to share about our recent visit and stay at this property.
